Finally made it to the Grand Canyon. We were able to get a campsite within the park grounds and they had shuttle busses that ran different routes one of which stopped at the campground.
We had female elk wandering through the campground every day. That is either my truck or camper in each of those pictures.
We also saw a male elk in the woods just outside the campground. It is supposed to be mating season but either the ladies were avoiding him or this guy was just lost.
We saw signs warning us of the dangerous animals, but I could only catch one on camera.
