This will be our way of documenting our trip to Alaska for ourselves as well as our family and friends.

Homer Alaska 24 July 2019

We are camped out on Homer Spit, which is a peninsula sticking out into Katchmack Bay.

On the trip down here from Anchorage, Lisa saw a moose but it was too fast for me to get a picture of it.  We also saw a glacier and it doesn’t move as fast as a moose, so I did get a picture of it.

We got pull in sites so this is the view from our front window.  That is the MS Amsterdam, but t will be pulling out at 6 PM, so we shouldn’t have to compete with those passengers.

That distortion in the upper center of the picture is actually a rock chip in the windshield.  Out third so far this trip.  I place a piece of clear packing tape over it to keep any bug juice from getting in it.  We will be getting out tomorrow a little more, but this is a heck of a time for both of us to have really bad colds.  Fever, hacking, no energy, just want to stay in bed kinda sick.
