Palmer/Grand View 2 Aug 2019

On the way to our camp, we stopped in Palmer to visit a Musk Ox Farm.  Learned a few things about them, like they don’t excrete musk and they are not an Ox.  They actually belong to the goat family.

This last one is one of the new kids, only 4 months old, already 100 pounds and going to be weened from its momma tomorrow.

Just before we got to Grand View, there was this massive glacier with the sun shinning on it and it was breathtaking.  Unfortunately I was leading a group, so I didn’t stop to take a picture of it, but I should have.  Then we got to the RV park and they park staff put on a pizza party for us.  Great pizza too!
